Demcore started its first R&D activities in 2011 at Marmara University’s MC365 laboratory in Istanbul, aiming to recover valuable metals that are found in limited quantities around the world. In 2016, MC365 Refinery Inc. was established with government incentives and began its journey in the sector. Since then, the company has successfully recovered important metals like gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, copper, and aluminum from electronic waste and catalytic converter scraps, giving an industrial dimension to its R&D efforts.
In 2021, the company rebranded as Demcore Technology and Engineering Inc. with the motto “Recover the Future” and expanded its operations for a more sustainable world. With an R&D team that has more than 20 years of industry experience, we continue to improve the processes and technologies for recovering valuable metals.
At the same time, we have expanded through collaborations in four countries, becoming one of the key players in the electronic waste sector in Turkey.
